Bhojpur Temple
An incomplete 11th-century marvel of Raja Bhoj.
The Story
Built by the Paramara king Raja Bhoj in the 11th century, the temple houses one of the largest monolithic Shiva lingams in India. Its unfinished form — with stone-cutting ramps still visible — gives a rare glimpse into medieval temple-craft.
