Chatori Gali in Ibrahimpura is the beating heart of Bhopali street food. The lane wakes up around sunset, when coal grills are lit, sutli kebabs go on skewers and the smell of slow-cooked mutton drifts through the old city.
It is a standing-and-eating street rather than a sit-down one: you move from counter to counter, sharing plates, finishing with a paan at the corner. During Ramzan the lane stays open deep into the night and turns into the city's biggest food festival.

7pm to midnight; Ramzan evenings are the peak experience.
